In our industry, it is essential that our sales leaders’ exhibit exceptional customer service skills throughout the life of a project. Some of the experiences we develop have lifespans of six months, and it’s important for our sales professionals to maintain control of the process in an environment that demands independence and flexibility.

Our sales professionals are responsible for growing audio/visual revenue and profitability while maximizing customer satisfaction from pre-event planning through post-event phases of service. It’s an integral role, and one we fill with only the most passionate and dedicated sales professionals.

Defining a Sales Professional

PSAV’s sales professionals are the face of our organization to our many clients across the globe. Therefore, they must exhibit an expansive skill set that spans from selling to customer service, and includes:

  • People skills are necessary, as our sales team is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with key hotel personnel and clients.
  • A thirst for knowledge in the field of audio/visual technology. Even though our sales professionals don’t turn the knobs, they must be knowledgeable on the technology being used and the future of the industry.
  • As the face of PSAV to our clients, it’s important that our sales professionals possess social personalities and feel comfortable interacting in a live event environment.
